Here is some information about the life of the artist:
"Raymond Anthony Jaworski, was born on May 1st, 1932 in New Britain, CT and passed away on December 2, 2008. Ray was a life long Connecticut son. He attended the University of Connecticut graduating with a BS in Dairy Manufacturing. On graduating from Uconn he served in the Army. He worked for over 30 years in Research and Development at Standard Brands later Nabisco Brands. He lived in Norwalk for over 45 years and after retiring from Nabisco he went to work helping others. He was very active in many Volunteer programs and in 1996 was Named AVIA's ‘Volunteer of the Year. This helping others was typical of a former “Eagle Scout”.

He will be remembered for his creativity. He was an artist with many interests. Painting, woodworking, sculpture and carpentry were his delight and he accomplished many things. His works can be found in many places. In recent years he taught painting with the Life Time Learners. This was an activity he enjoyed very much. During his life he made friends wherever he was and they remained with him throughout his life."
