Old Brass Miners Lamp With Hanger

This great old lantern has some numbers stamped on the inside. I do not see any other makers marks. I believe this is for mining. It stands approx. 8" tall not counting the hook. The bottom is somewhat dented. 2 3/4" diameter at the base.

Consistent with age and use.
