Musee Grevin created in 1900's, is one of the best known images by the great French artist, Jules Chéret. The poster advertises a show performance at the Musee Grevin in Paris. The Musee Grevin is a wax museum found on Boulevard Montmartre in Paris in 1892 and it is still operating. The colors and details of the artwork are reflective of Jules Cheret's detailed and flowing artistic style.
Jules Chéret (1836-1932) was known as the "Father of the Modern Poster." French native Jules Cheret, is infamous for his vibrant use of color and lively portrayal of woman (later referred to as "Cherettes") through his lithographic process of poster design and prints.
