Item Description

A truly stunning modern pendulum wall-mounted clock by George Nelson for Howard Miller made of aluminum, chrome and Lucite with brass works and the original red and white hands. This pendulum wall clock features a transparent acrylic face that allows you to see all the inner-working mechanisms. The striking white hour hand and bold red minute hand offer an extra little dash of modernism to this already modern classic.
George Nelson was an American industrial designer and one of the founders of American Modernism. While Director of Design for the Herman Miller furniture company, Nelson and his design studio, George Nelson Associates, Inc., designed much of the 20th century's most iconic modernist furniture including many clocks. The face of the clock is 12" in diameter. When the weights are fully extended, the total length is 59" high.
