Rare & Retro Mid-Century Modern George Briard Signed Mosaic Foiled Art Glass Wall Clock. Purchased in the 1960's and an absolutely rare and amazing piece by George Briard. The face of this clock is made up of cut pieces of foiled art glass, fit into place and secured with mortar. The glass tiles are foiled and have a textured surface that is highly colorful and reflective. The colors include green, blue & dark blue. The face has Roman numerals and crowns in gold paint and it is signed as well. The colors are amazing and the textured glass tiles make this clock look like a piece of MMC era art work. The hands are a high polished gold brass and they look great with the gold painted numerals and crowns.
