Made in 1957, this is marked as an "Antique Dough Box". Made of maple (same finish and maker as the lamp stand) with dove tail edges, matching grain where the top opening reciprocating doors meet. Magnificent workmanship and finish. Inside, there is a sliding drawer/shelf.
