Handcrafted in Italy.
Graceful Form with gentle curving rim - very heavy thick walls.
Bowl measures 6.5” x 5.5” x 2.5”
Great example of Mid-Century Murano style.
Good condition, dings, chips, cracks, or discoloration. The finish is a bit dull, or matte. I do not know if it was always this way or if the dull finish is from use. There is a tiny nick on the rim and two pin head nicks on the side (shown in last two photos) I believe these may have been tiny bubbles that broke beneath the surface, they are in odd spots to have hit against something. I have priced this piece with imperfections in mind. This is a stunning piece, and it presents very well.
This piece came from the Estate of a serious SEGUSO collector. She had over 400 pieces and had become friends with the family and many of the designers master glass artisans.
