Michael Katok Austin Productions Copper Alloy Sculpture "Night Out"

This large plaster sculpture is by Russian born artist Michael Katock. He produced a line of plaster sculptures for Austin Productions. This particular piece is titled 'Night Out' and is from 'The Sophisticates' series. This art-deco stylized piece is of a woman dressed for an evening of high fashion and entertainment. The figure is wearing a headband, black gloves and a flowing purple dress with a stylized feather train to the back. The figure is a mix of silver, purple, and black tones. It is a tall piece at 23" in height. The piece is in fair condition as there are some chips to the plaster along the dress and train and base (see photographs). There is no damage to her beautiful features, arms or face. The plaster chips could be colored in or repaired.
