Louis XV Style Marble Top Stand With Bronze Ormolu - 1 Of 2 - From The Pierre Hotel, NYC

This is a lovely Louis XV style marble top stand with bronze ormolu mounts from the Pierre Hotel in NYC. Owner bought two of these at the same sale at the Pierre. Owner recalls there being dozens of these tables at the sale. Figured they would go for a low price because there were so many - but they didn't! All sold between $300-$500 - each depending on condition. We have two of these - this auction is for one. 100% usable condition. The hardware, key and bronze trim are all there but like any older piece, it has bumps, scrapes, chips, stains and other flaws. Marble is fine and it has the original key - all locks work. VERY well made. Not sure of age - not period but not new either.
