Item Description

Walter Czuczka lived in Mount Vernon, NY and Westport, CT and hand carved and painted these preschool toys for children circa the 1950's.

This specific lot of dolls from the mid century is in great shape. Each “extra” is hand painted from from top to back and complete with the artists copyright and initials. Complete with a total of seven characters (three blue suited males, two boys with overalls, two girls with red dresses and teddy bears, three grey suited males with smoking pipes, three grey suited females, three housewife's holding babies, and one blue suited mail man). Each character is approximately 5 1/4” at the highest and the girl is the shortest at 3 1/4” tall. Each piece has some apparent age but they seem to be in rather good shape for their age. All seem to be happy with exception of the mailman who looks miserable, the blue suited make is Will Arnett’s doppelgänger.

NO EXCEPTIONS. ITEMS NOT PICKED UP DURING ALLOTTED PICK UP HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED WITHOUT REFUNDS. IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE PICK UP TIMES, SEND A FAMILY MEMBER or FRIEND WITH YOUR INVOICE.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES FOR PICK-UP:
- Every buyer MUST wear a mask and bring their own pen for Invoice signature purposes.
-Please ONLY 1 Buyer at the Pick-Up door at a time.
- If there is a buyer ahead of you, or Auction Staff members near you, please keep at least 6 feet in-between each other in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines.
- All of our personnel will be wearing the appropriate protection gear at the time of pickup.

• Winning Bidders must bring help if required for carrying large/ heavy items & please bring your proper packaging materials (boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, furniture blankets, etc) if needed for pickup.
• Packing, Moving & Transporting of your items will NOT BE PROVIDED upon pickup.
