Bio:
Jiang Tie Feng was an elder statesman of the now famous Yunnan School and Heavy Color Movement, which revolutionized Chinese painting in the 1980s. A professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, and the creator of the national monument Stone Forest in the Great Hall of the People, Tian-an-men Square.Jiang Tie Feng is also the leading subject of scholarly surveys of the contemporary revolution in Chinese painting.
