Item Description

If anything this is based on 19th Century porcelain design for a very special soup tureen. I do believe this is from Europe possibly Italy. It is based on a design from Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory, England. It is a classic design style and has been called a soup tureen. Clearly this one is hand-painted and you can see some of the elements that you will on on the 18th-19th Century designs. Snail on the leaves, leaf in mouth and more. 13"L, 9" H with ears. 8" Depth. No chips.
