French Napoleon III Period Style Marbled Design Top End Table

This piece is reminiscent of the the style popular during the revival of the Empire, first appearing during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte, then again when his nephew assumed power during the middle of the 1800s. Hand-crafted from solid wood, the piece is fitted with decorative polished collars on the three columns, ornamental medallions, and topped with a green-grey marbled design surface for an opulent understated elegance. Small imperfections in wood at base (see pictures), but otherwise in great condition.
