Item Description

1:8 scale die-cast 1885 Daimler Single Track motor bike created by Franklin Mint as part of their precision model series. Considered to be the world's first motor vehicle and crafted in authentic detail. All moving parts are functional. The distinctive main frame is sturdily constructed of real wood. The primary and stabilizing wheels are rimmed with metal. The "hobby horse" saddle is real leather upholstery and the major engine components are richly coated with 24 karat gold.
