Framed Ex Libris Antique Bookplates - "Remarques" - James Goode Collection Frame 123. A remarque is a small drawing that an engraver adds to the lower margins of a bookplate that relates to the central drawing or to the book owner's interests. Exhibited in Three Centuries of the American Bookplate by James M. Goode. University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, June- July, 2010.
The frame is 20" x 20".
