Selenite is a pearly translucent mineral that changes appearance, similar to cat’s eye. It was used as a decorating material in the Imperial Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. This vintage carved and etched Selenite figurine shows twin girls in traditional folk attire and demonstrates vintage Russian artistry and folk art. Selenite is also considered to be a healing stone that can improve headaches, memory and fatigue. Figurine measures 2.25"W x 2.5”H.
