Fabulous Nude by Arthur Sarnoff 1912-2000 Major American Illustrator of a young woman titled “ Morning “
20x24 oil on board . Signed lower right by the Artist and on the reverse signed by the Artist with the title . This painting came directly from the artists estate . He was a Magazine Illustrator .
Sarnoff illustrated for Colliers , Redbook , Esquire , Woman’s Home Companion , etc etc . His auction records on Ask Art and Art net are up to 16,000 for his major paintings . Many were sold in New York Auctions as well as Heritage in Dallas in their illustration auctions . You can see on Google . This Nude of a woman is very well done . It is unframed , however takes a standard 20x24 American size frame . Member of Society of American Illustrators and one of his teacher was Andrew Wyeth . It is in good condition . He focused on subjects like , sports , celebrities, sex, crime , and music, . He was born in Brooklyn New York .
