Approx 18" long 14 carat white gold
Cameo approx 2”. - the frame in which the cameo is imbedded may be silver but it is not stamped nor tested.
The carving and detail in this cameo's design help to authenticate it as a fine example of the type of a carved cameo that was made of stone or corral or bone vs.
made of resin or plastic. The small stone inside the necklace has not been authenticated as diamond, but
whatever stone was used it is so tiny its effect on the value would be minimal. My guess is that the stone is a marcasite which was often used in pendents especially during the Victorian period which is when Cameo's were most popular. However, the age of this one is, unfortunately, unknown. My guess, based on the condition which is very good, is that it was most likely made in the 40's or 50's.
Very Good
