Evans Sterling Silver Long Cigarette Case

An Estate acquisition, Ca. 1940, this extra large Sterling Silver Cigarette case measures 5 15/16 inch long, by 3 1/8 inch wide, by 3/8 inch deep. It is quite heavy, weighing 6.875 ounces, or 194.9 grams. The case is in very good condition, good working condition, consistent with age and use for the gift that it was to "P.P.W." signed "ALWAYS YOUR BEST FRIEND, LIESL , 4-30-43 The case opens and closes beautifully, securely, and squarely. A lovely sentiment during war times, from a friend who meant enough to want to memorialize their friendship.

Notes: very good, minor scratches consistent with age and use
