CYBIS 12" Porcelain Bust Of George Washington By WILLIAM RAE 1975

Handsome bust of George Washington Sculpted By William Rae for CYBIS.
The piece was commissioned by the Bicentennial Commission in 1975 and given by VP Nelson Rockefeller to dignitaries on his European Tour in 1976.
It was manufactured in Trenton, NJ as an open edition, sold for 2 years.
It is clearly marked on the back CYBIS and also has the makers mark impressed into the figure on the back.
The bust stands 12" tall on the base.
The white matte porcelain resembles marble.
The bust stands on a black solid wood base, felted on the bottom.
Excellent condition without and chips or cracks.
