I believe we have a FANTASTIC Vintage CHRISTIAN DIOR / 14KT Gold and Malachite necklace with 14kt clasps, beads and spacers . . .MARKED 14kt ITALY and C.D. . . . . . .I checked with a good friend of mine (she is GIA certified gemologist, appraiser, collector and auctioneer) . . .she agreed that the "C.D. is most likely the legendary French designer Christian Dior . . . .I also remember that I have had MANY sets of Christian Dior Malachite china over the years. . . .apparently he was OBSESSED with malachite (GOOGLE CHRISTIAN DIOR MALACHITE) . . . . . .this is a VERY VERY special piece . . . . .
