This piece is signed BREE '62 on the matt.
It has been clumsily put into this hand made, gesso & wood gilt frame.
The frame is well beaten up.
The watercolor is amazing.
It has faded, but it's still absolutely beautiful.
Certainly can be hung as is in a Shabby Chic interior.
Personally I would rescue the watercolor from this frame and reframe the art to preserve it.
The frame, which was once very high quality, would be fun with a mirror in it or in a collection or ornate frames.
