Chinese Sterling Silver Fish Pomander Pendant With Articulating Body -

A vintage Chinese sterling silver fish pomander pendant with articulating body, turquoise eyes and articulating filigree scales, this pendant still displays what remains of a gold wash finish. It is marked “silver” on the inside of the hinged door under the mouth, including a jump ring for hanging. Worn as a pendant, it can used as a pomander by inserting scent soaked fabric, allowing the scent to escape through the silver mesh.
Size: 1" wide (at its widest point) x 4" long.
Condition: very good.
