CARMEN JABALOYES 'Tangiers', 2000, Oil On Canvas, 39"x47"

Beautiful oil on canvas featuring a cityscape of Tangiers from the artists 'Cities' series. Very good condition. Originally purchased in 2007 from Mercury Gallery in Boston for $7,500.

"Carmen Jabaloyes
​Born in Valencia in 1971.

Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Faculty of Valencia, finishing her studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, specializing in sculpture.

Attendant student at Harvard University in Medieval and Renaissant Art 1996.

In 1997 she held her first solo exhibition at the Mercury Gallery, Boston. Since then she has participated in both individual and group exhibitions in this gallery.

From 2004, she exhibited in the Prada gallery in Washington DC.

Since 2011, she has performed solo and group exhibitions at Galerie Fries.

Her work is in the collection of the Boston Public Library as well as other public and private collections of the American East Coast.

Since 2016, she has been exhibiting in Ana Serratosa's gallery in Valencia."
