A master of his craft. This is a truly magnificent example of an architectural etching depciting Højbro Plads. It is framed, matted and in overall excellent condition.

Nicolai Hammer, a Danish artist who was born in Copenhagen. He studied art at the Academy there between 1907 and 1908. He traveled extensively through Dresden, Germany, Holland, Belgium, and England. He studied printmaking in England with W.P. Robins. He is mostly known as an etcher, and for his Danish architecture. He exhibited extensively throughout Scandinavia and Europe.
