She wears a cloak with a velvet color and holds a mask in her hands indicating she is at a masquerade ball. An exceptional collectible that is highly valued.
Marked CMD Sylvan China, Continental Mdse, Co. Inc. 1579 (Continental Merchandise Co., Japan). This bisque porcelain figurine is in the matter of Jean Gille. Jean Gille was one of the leading manufacturers of colored biscuit porcelain in the 19th century.
