You don't see many Passats that are manual transmission . . the turbocharged four cylinder engine is the same engine that is used in the Audi A4 . . .ITS VERY QUICK AND WITH THE STANDARD SHIFT TRANSMISSION IT'S SUPER SPORTY, this is not a little compact car, this is a nice mid-size sedan, very roomy and very nice to drive
The exterior color is bright white called "Candy White" with "Midnight Black" leather interior . . .the interior is in overall good condition . . . one split on drivers seat that was covered (I almost missed it) . . .engine runs perfectly and the car drives very well, the transmission feels good. . .clutch is fine . . .air conditioning is ICE COLD . . .it is VERY difficult to find good used cars these days . . .

Seems like a good car overall . . .please keep in mind this car is not brand new, its an older used car, while this Passat is in overall very good condition, you will find MINOR dings, dents, scrapes, scratches, flaws, minor leaks, squeaks, rattles, drips, drops, rust, chips & touch up paint here and there there as well as other flaws & imperfections . . . again . .ALL MINOR . . .NO GLARING DEFECTS
there are a few other minor items to mention . . .there are several dash lights that come on here are there (they come and go) airbag light . . .ABS light . . . brake light . . . . .check engine . . .none of the lights seem to effect performance . . .IT PASSED THE LAST NYS SAFETY INSPECTION / EMISSIONS
the "important" lights are NOT on (oil pressure, engine temperature) . . .also there are several interior plastic bits missing . . .mirror adjust knob, one radio button, lacking a few VW emblems, things like that . . . the type of parts you can find on eBay for a few dollars here and there . . .there are some other interior trim pieces are missing / off (NONE of the interior items im mentioning are serious . . I just have to list them) ZERO accidents on CarFax. . .(there are some other interior flaws) and there are some curb scrapes on a couple of the wheels, and its lacking some VW emblems, these items I mentioned are minor . . .ALL THINGS CONSIDERED - I THINK ITS A GREAT CAR . . . .

The CarFax states it a two owner vehicle. . .its actually a ONE OWNER vehicle. . .from 1999-2019 it was in Massachusetts then in 2020 when the owner moved to New York and re-registered it . . .if there was any further question. . .we have the original purchase paperwork. . .the last name is the same on the 1999 paperwork as on the 2020 title. . . we have some service records and even the original window sticker.

As usual I had our tech give it a quick once over, he said he does not see any serious issues. . . just the battery was very weak . . . (he installed a brand new $279 battery) . . . and we JUST installed a brand new alternator. . .overall he said everything looks fine . . . very clean overall, fluids and clean and up to proper levels, belts and hoses are all good, car is clean overall and "its going to need a set of tires" and it MIGHT need rear brakes (they were a bit scratchy) but he said they got better as he drove it (might just have been some surface oxidation) the only other things to note are a very slight exhaust leak and the power locks are a little touchy sometimes they lock sometimes they don’t. . ."everything else looks fine" . . .
