Baker Furniture Stately Homes Collection Georgian Mahogany Dining Table & Seven Pierced Splat Dining Chairs

A rare and exceptional mahogany and satinwood extension dining table from Baker Furniture's Stately Homes Collection. This fine Regency table is a two-pedestal mahogany table with broad satinwood crossbanded and ebonized borders and a rounded rectangular top. The table is solidly braced by reeded column supports bound with molded ties on three carved and reeded legs with solid brass toes and casters. This table is part of the prestigious Stately Homes Collections by Baker. This 1982 reproduction is modeled after the original that sits in the Knebworth House built in 1492. The original table was constructed in 1815 and sits in the main formal dining room.

Table comes with seven beautifully carved ball&claw foot pierced splat back dining chairs with upholstered seats. Chairs are in fair vintage condition- some need maintenance work as they are slightly wobbly. This set also comes with a faux wood padded table cover.
