This wood and glass shadowbox contains thin layers of stacked wood cut into the shape of a tennis player in mid stroke, with a ball coming towards him to create a sense of movement. This piece was created by optical artist Greg Copeland. New Jersey artist Copeland, was a major force in the contemporary decorative art field from the 50's through the 80's. This piece is perfect for any tennis enthusiast! Some of the pieces of the tennis racket have broken off and there is some wear on side of box.
