Item Description

Wood & Challinor was a pottery in Tunstall , Stoke-on-Trent, England. It was in business from 1828 until 1841.

Pattern is feather.

It is amazing that this piece has lasted almost 200 years without any chips or cracks other than crazing. There is discoloration because of the crazing and the crazing is extensive. There is a glaze bubble on the front - see closeup-and glaze flaws on the back side, And some worn glaze along the rim

Notes: Extensive crazing with discoloration, glaze flaws., Some spots of worn glaze along the rim
