Item Description

Antique W. G. Creamer, NY Cast Iron Victorian Floor Heat Vent Grate With Working Louver slats. Pat. May 11, 1869. Very ornate design.
13 1/2" long x 9 3/4" wide x 2" tall. A side iron lever still opens and closes the 4 louver slats smoothly.
The hole this fits over is slightly smaller than the measurements previously listed as the top allows for a short overlap of iron to fit smoothly over the opening in the floor. The Louvres section is 11" x 8". The size just inside the outer edges, on the bottom side, is 12 7/8" x 9". This will help to see if you intend on using it to fit into a particular sized vent hole in your floor.
