This piece is amazing.
Each flower is formed by pressing and pricking paper with a pin. It's incredibly tiny work.
This design features a flower wreath and a monogram in the center.
It's made with thousands of tiny pushed, punches and pinpricks to form 3 dimensional designs.
It is in excellent shape. There is a little bit of oxidation around the edges.
There is one spot where a couple of tiny pieces if debris have fallen.
IMHO, the piece should be opened, matted and reframed, for preservation, so these two tiny bits can be easily removed at that time.
Its an incredible piece pf handiwork - very hard to find.
