The Standard Rotary sewing machines were manufactured between the 1880's-1900's. The logo "Standard" is painted directly on this machine which dates this at around circa 1900. This is an antique "Standard" Co. Rotary Sewing Machine in very good original condition. Shows some signs of wear (aging and wear from use), where some of the decorative painting on the base is worn in some places, but generally intact. (Please Note: the decorative painting is in very good original condition and much more intact than most Standard machines found this age). It is very clean. Steel sewing wheel on back turns freely and raises and lowers the needle holder. All parts move freely. Appears to be operational.
