Elisha Niles Welch was born on Feb. 7 1809 and died on Aug. 7, 1887. He started E. N. Welch mfg. in 1864. in Forestville Ct. This clock has part of the label on the back that the early clocks from this company was noted for. It measures 16 x 13. Has gold feet and face and columns and strikes on the hour.
