Item Description

Antique leather pouch for shot
The makers name and location is stamped on the metal part and the leather is stamped 2 1/2 and LB

marked Sam( or Sam'l) Nock Regent St. He was the" nephew and apprentice to Henry Nock-a famous gunsmith. Samuel became a “Master”in his own right in 1836 and was appointed Gunmaker-in-Ordinary to four Monarchs from George III beginning in 1805 through Victoria in 1837."

Notes: some wear to leather as would be expected with age and use, ?tape residue on one side, otherwise good
