Label on inside of lid indicates this box once held scleroscope supplies from the Shore Instrument & Manufacturing Company. The firm manufactured scleroscopes for testing hardness of metals.

Hinged box measures 18" L x 7" D x 7.5" H.

Notes: Condition consistent with age. Some wear to wood evident.
