Antique Mahogany Queen 4 Poster Bed Frame, Rice Carved Motif

Traditional Victorian. A finely carved mahogany rice bed, arched edge headboard flanked by acanthus leaf and rice carved baluster turned posts with urn finials; the mahogany rails with brass rosettes to the posts. Standard slat support. Inspired by 18th century American, manufactured by Grand Rapids Chair Co. in the early 20th century. Beautiful. In need of polishing and perhaps some spot touch up to finish, small split at post and rail joint for repair with wood adhesive, one finial is without dowel.
