Item Description

This lot of two ruby red flash glass consists of one shot glass and one canoe. Both are marked Carthage Fair and both are in good condition. One is a canoe marked 1912 and one is a shot glass marked 1909. The Hamilton County Fair, formerly known as the Carthage Fair, is the county fair of Hamilton County, Ohio. It is held annually by the Hamilton County Agricultural Society at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Cincinnati's Carthage neighborhood. It is the oldest county fair in Ohio, first held in 1820 on the Ezekiel Hutchinson farm and in 1855 at the present location.
The shot glass is 2” tall and the canoe is 5 3/4” wide. Please see the photos for details and condition and feel free with any questions, thanks and happy bidding.

- All of our personnel will be wearing the appropriate protection gear at the time of pickup.
