Item Description

Beautiful antique sleigh bed that came out of the attic of a home built in the 1770s in an unusual size (called by the current owner's mother a three-quarters size bed) crafted from a hardwood maybe cherry with a dark aged finish. This would make a stunning daybed. This bed needs a custom box spring and mattress, they can be included but they are old and have been stored in a basement for years with cigarette smoking.

Notes: One of the boards (headboard and footboard are identical/exchangeable) has a split to it, look carefully at close up photos. Does not compromise the structural integrity of the bed. There is also a split to part of one of the side rails.
