Antique French Copper Lavabo With Engraved Front And Matching Basin

Body includes brass finial and spigots and engraving of a helmet and shield within a victory wreath on the front. Basin can either be freestanding or mounted. Also included are two additional spigots.

In the past, lavabos were used outside where the sunshine could warm the "tank" of water so you had warm water to wash your hands. Today, they are often used for garden decoration and bird baths.
