Item Description

Purchased in the 1980s at Doyle Auctions for $4,500 and restored by Sotheby's Restoration.
Includes two keys attached to silk tassels.
Stunning mahogany breakfront bookcase with open fretwork and a drop-down secretary drawer in the center. The desk is surprisingly useful in a modern home as laptops and stationery can be accessed easily and quickly hidden away when not in use. Use the upper portion with mullioned glass front doors to display books or collectibles. Plenty of storage space below and two deep drawers with wooden partitions.
