Antique Edward Miller Lamp Co. Slag Glass Lamp with a Bronze base -Lyres And Urns Ornamentation around the 6-panel Shade. Lovely green and caramel colored glass shade panels.
Edward Miller & Co. (1844-1924) was formed in Meriden, Connecticut and is primarily known as a historical manufacturer of lamps. They specialized in lamps with metal bases and shades made of pierced metal filigree over colored or slag glass. Caramel or amber glass were the most frequently used shade color in lamp making. ....famous Maker Miller put it simply, "It's the easiest on the eye and best for reading." This lamp is marked on the underside of the Base with " M L Co 233".
Up for auction we have a beautiful slag glass paned lamp with a bronze base and decorative accents. Each glass pane is in beautiful shape and not chipped or cracked. Please note that two of the urn ornaments are missing their finials however the other four are in order.

- If there is a buyer ahead of you, or Auction Staff members near you, please keep at least 6 feet inbetween each other in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines.
- All of our personnel will be wearing the appropriate protection gear at the time of pickup.
• Winning Bidders MUST BRING HELPERS IF YOU HAVE WON LARGE ITEMS - for carrying large/ heavy items and placing them into your vehicle. Please bring your proper packaging materials (boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, furniture blankets, etc) if needed for pickup.
