Antique (ca. 1800) Edgecombe Nichols Bristol George III Mahogany Tall Case Clock

Clock with arched bonnet and swan's neck pediment flanked by fluted stiles. The glass door with shaped border opens to painted steel sheet clock face with Arabic numbers, second dial and filigree hands. Crest and corners painted with fruits. Clock face signed Edgecombe Nichols, Bristol. The case encloses brass pendulum and weights. Projecting lower section raised on bracket feet.
