An Original Paul Rudolph Custom Designed Tuxedo Styled Upholstered Sofa (2 Of 2)

This sofa and it's match and the other matching pieces in this auction were designed by Rudolph for this home. One large down filled tufted seat cushion with rectangular back and arm pillows. Simple elegant lines. Note the linear horizontal lines that mimic the architecture of the room. The fabric appears to be a silk/wool blend flat weave, it is a subtle striee fabric in light gray. Original upholstery from 1976. Needs cleaning. Will be incredible reupholstered, very useable as is. Some spots and small stains consistent with age and use, this has been a weekend home for the last 40 years so every thing has had light use. Square wood block feet. Some buttons may have rust stains. The quality of these pieces are immediately evident and they have held up extremely well.
