An Original Paul Rudolph Custom Designed Tufted Day Bed

This one of kind piece and the other matching pieces in this auction were designed by Rudolph for this home. Simple elegant lines and a bolster pillow that can work in different ways. Note the linear horizontal lines that mimic the architecture of the room. The fabric appears to be a silk/wool blend flat weave, it is a subtle striee fabric in light gray. Original upholstery from 1976. Needs cleaning. Will be incredible reupholstered, very useable as is. Some spots and small stains consistent with age and use, this has been a weekend home for the last 40 years so every thing has had light use. Square wood block feet. Some buttons may have rust stains. Bolster has sun fading. Can be used as a guest bed. The quality of these pieces are immediately evident and they have held up extremely well.
