These are hand-blown plates! If you see the glass squares they are not always lined up exactly. Fantastic set for a larger dinner party. Some scratches can be seen on some plates but overall they are really amazing pieces. The dinner plates are 10" diameter, the salad plates are 8.5". A fantastic set
