Pair of Vintage French Revolution Inspired Prints with Custom Mattes and Frames

Two prints in the style of editorial cartoons reflecting soldiers of the French Revolution. Both are signed by the artist Benito. One print displays a soldier marching forward with the caption “Vive la Nation!!”, while the other depicts a deserter leaving the front with the caption “C’etait in petit soldat, un petit soldat come in y en a des milliers, qui sont partis” (“He was a little soldier, a little soldier like there are thousands, who left”).
