Item Description

Antique circa 1900 stereoscopic viewers [2], with a grouping of cards. It was a way [before traveling long distances was convenient] for people to see the landmarks and beauty of the world outside of a book, in full 3-D. Both are tested and working. Each photo is a double image,both halves slightly different in view. when viewed through the scope, the human brain combines the 2 images into 1, creating a 3-dimensional effect.
