This Kuba mask sits elegantly on its black metal stand adding a sophisticated and international air to any room where it might be placed. It is made from wood, raffia, sisal, cowry shells, beads, natural paints and dyes. Purported to have been collected after being culturally used, but there is no documentation attesting to that. Still, it is an outstanding example of the ritual design of this tribal group of the DRC, formerly the Congo
