Foo dogs, or lions are known as guardians and most often seen outdoors in front of palaces, temples and home or driveways.
The female represents yin, and symbolically protects the people dwelling inside the home, while the male statue, representing yang, protects the structure itself. The male is recognized as the one resting his paw on the ball, which represents the world, and the female is shown with one paw on a cub.
These are very heavy - you must bring help to move. At least 2 strong people. We will not be able to help with these.
